25 Years Strong – the story behind the numbers
We have amazing memories, learned so much, and built lasting friendships over the years. We started Casting Collective when we were 26, Mambo No 5 was number 1 in the charts and we were talking about the millennium bug. Here are 25 other things that stand out….. In no particular order:
1 Pandemic – and we adapted, thrived through it.
2 Actors Strikes – navigating the challenges.
3 Directors – making CC what it is today.
4 Offices – from W10 to EC1 our homes.
5 LGBTQ+ staff – diversity has always been our strength.
6 am Call Times – early starts, signing in, and being on set—our norm!
10 Crew training days – Collaborating with industry heavyweights to train the next generation.
8 Regions – not just London! Like our SA’s, CC team lives all over the UK from Scotland to Devon and everywhere in between.
Countless Street Castings and flyering – too many to mention.
12 Annual Printed Casting Books – starting with 5,000 faces, now 50,000 fully online.
25+ Christmas Parties – Including at least two memorable fancy-dress parties!
1 Escaped horse – yes that happened on Latimer Road!
10 Hobbies of Our team – From improv to wild swimming, we’re a talented bunch!

One Extras Agency
We hosted an epic 25th Anniversary Party in November 2024 to celebrate this incredible journey. The night was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and some serious dancing! It was the perfect way to honour the people who have made Casting Collective what it is today — our fantastic artistes, dedicated team, and industry friends. Thank you to everyone in the CC family — past and present —including the ADs, friends, and our long-suffering partners! We couldn’t do it without you all (and a lot of coffee, cake, and prosecco!).
